What are these things? They’re roots of polynomial equations plotted on the complex plane; that is to say, polynomial root plots – or Polyplots, for short. Also for the alliteration cred.
Originally inspired by a post by Dr. Baez, I’ve since created more of them – starting from a short Python script and slowly growing into a full fledged program in Python and Fortran (not yet released – stay tuned!). Here is an explanation of how these things are made.
