New Lens

I recently got a new lens for my camera.

I got it used and it’s beginning to show some quirks but it’s still a really nice lens. It’s a fancy zoom lens – it can go from 18 mm to 400 mm! That is to say, it can go from here at 18 mm:

all the way to here at at 400 mm:

So here’s some good shots I’ve been able to get with it so far.

The lens is actually heavier than the camera and occasionally this makes the camera think the lens isn’t attached! Its autofocus also will sometimes stop working or constantly and quickly shift back and forth through its limits forcing me to turn it off and back on. Despite its issues, I’m still quite satisfied with it.
