
I’ve recently gone through boxes of mine that have been in the attic and basement for years, some of which haven’t been open since last century. Some of the items I remember, some I don’t and some I can’t identify at all. Here’s a partial list of the items discovered.
- Jar of water
- $14.74 entirely in pennies
- Paper bag of nails
- Broken car tape deck, manufactured Aug 1990
- Bag of toy cars
- An Intel i486 SX CPU in that very same bag
- Bathroom hall passes

A pencil eraser, which also doubled as a spaceship that sustained heavy damage
- Four corded phones
- Gnarled end of a wooden post
- A single bathroom tile
- Rocks
- A box completely full of plastic spoons (236 of them!)
- Multiple birthday cards from multiple years, some still with money in them
- More rocks
- Styrofoam trays

No idea
- The telescopic part of a music stand
- Popsicle stick bridges
- A single keyboard key

Yup, that’s a key alright
- Polaroid battery pack
- Various broken electronic boards
- Block of magnesium
- Working laptop, runs Windows 3.1

Cosmo’s Cosmic Adventure runs just fine
- Rocks on strings
- Sticks
- Toaster with a fan strapped to the bottom

Toaster heater
- Wires
- Portable radio whose batteries expired fourteen years ago
- A box that’s 90% duct tape
- Two board games, titled Executive Decision (The business management game) and Acquire (High adventure in the world of high finance)
- A collection of steel rolled beer cans
- Baby dinosaur clock

More random stuff
This is just some of the more unusual items found; quite a bit was tossed out. Now if only I had a place to store the rest.
